My Family Has Had This Original Photo Since 1965, Today December 8th 2010, The 30th Anniversary Of The Day John Lennon Was Gunned Down By A Mad Man, Seems An Appropriate Day To Post A History Photo Of The Beatles. This Is Much Cropped From My Silver Print, But The Faces, And The Music Is Timeless.

I once found a car on a side street in Tucson Arizona , it has such lovely shapes and forms, almost as though human. It was a 1941 Plymouth Coupe , that had been hot-rod`ed. I wanted it so bad, as my desire to own it became so intense it was almost hypnotic, and addictive. I could not afford the selling price. I used to cry such vain prayers to my inner God or some unknown corner of my mind, that money would come to buy this colorful shapely automobile. Instead I turned my passion into art, and began to experiment with geometric art forms. Before long I began using animals tree's plants nature and human form and my work began to show in Galleries and Museums. It was a start that ebbs and flows with the tides of the economy, but I still think of that 1941 Plymouth and say a thank-you to it every now and then ...As a tribute to that car, I made an image from it entitled TRINITY

Their has been, an effect in photography, that goes back to wet color film processing days known as "Cross Processing" , for example developing E-6 Transparency film to a C-41 Color Negative, and or vice versa the more used C-41 to E-6 process which abstracts the color and gamma ,produces nice grainy shadows , and alters the gray scale. This has been able to be done in Photoshops or GIMP for a number of years by adjusting the Red Blue and Green color curves and levels and ending up which such a comparison as is posted here.
